Adventure Community Church is a non-denominational Christian church. In a generation that is critical of organized religion, Adventure is free of church creeds, traditions and denominational distinctives that divide.
We seek to restore doctrinal purity by using the Bible, only, as the source of absolute truth. Therefore, Scripture is recognized as the final authority in all matters of faith and practice. In areas where the Scriptures speak, we are uncompromising. In areas where the Scripture is silent, each believer is to be led in those areas by the Holy Spirit of the Lord to Whom he or she is ultimately responsible.
Our Faith
God eternally lives as the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit-each of whom possesses, equally, all the attributes of deity and the characteristics of personality. God, the Father, is the Creator and Ruler of the universe.
Jesus Christ is the Son of God, and was united with a true human nature by a miraculous conception and virgin birth. Jesus lived a sinless human life and offered Himself as the perfect sacrifice for the sins of all people by dying on the cross. He arose from the dead after three days to demonstrate His power over sin and death. He ascended to Heaven and will return again someday to reign as King of kings and Lord of lords. Holy Spirit is present in the world to make people aware of their need for Jesus Christ and lives in every Christian from the moment of salvation.
The Holy Spirit uniquely gives every believer a spiritual gift for service and building up the church while providing the Christian with power for living, understanding of spiritual truth, and guidance to do what is right.
The Bible is composed of sixty-six books within the Old and New Testaments, and is the supreme source of truth for Christian beliefs. Scripture is its entirety originated with God and was written by human authors under the supernatural guidance of the Holy Spirit. Therefore, Scripture speaks with the authority of God while reflecting the backgrounds, styles and vocabularies of the human authors. The Bible is without error, and it is the unique, full and final authority on all matters of life.
Salvation is God's free gift to us, but we must accept it. We can never make up for our sin by self-improvement or good works. Only by trusting in Jesus Christ as God's offer of forgiveness can anyone be saved from sin's penalty. When we turn from our self-ruled life and turn to Jesus in faith, we are saved.

Our Vision
Adventure Community is a modern church for modern times where real people discover real answers to real-life situations. While we don't claim to have all the answers, we will point you in the right direction and to the God who provides a sense of purpose, real hope, unconditional forgiveness and lasting peace.
...equipping you for the adventure of life.
Adventure Church is a growing community that is for some the family many wished they would have had growing up, for others the replacement for the family they lost or left behind, and for all the picture of the family we will spend eternity with. Being a Christian is not about being religious; it's about having a relationship with Jesus Christ. Acknowledging there is no substitute for an authentic, growing, personal relationship with the Son of God and the Savior of the world,
Adventure Community Church is committed to equipping you for the adventure of life.
Our Mission
The purpose of Adventure Community Church is "to inspire and equip people to become fully devoted followers of Jesus Christ." The basis of the mission statement is found in the Gospel of Matthew: "Go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you." Matthew 28:19-20
"To inspire and assist people to become" focuses on bringing salvation to those who do not have a relationship with the Savoir, Jesus Christ.
"Fully devoted followers of Jesus Christ" focuses on moving the church community on to maturity in Jesus Christ.
...each individual person matters to God.
We know we are successful in our mission when we see individual people accept Jesus as their Lord and Savior, grow in that relationship, serve in some context, and become contagious Christ-follower. We measure our success one person at a time because each individual person matters to God.
